How these tools work

Most image websites ask you to upload your photo to their server, wait, then download the result. That is slow, and it means a copy of your photo sits on a stranger's computer. This site works differently. Every tool uses technology built into your web browser (called the Canvas API) to open, change and save your image directly on your phone or computer.

Because nothing is uploaded, the tools are fast — there is no upload or download queue — and private by design. Close the tab and there is nothing left behind anywhere. It also means the tools work on school, office and application-form photos that you would never want to send to an unknown server.

Which tool do you need?

  • Just make it smaller: use the Compress Image tool and move the quality slider.
  • A form asks for 50KB, 100KB or 200KB: use the matching "Compress to KB" tool — it hunts for the right settings automatically.
  • Exact pixel size needed: use the Image Resizer, or the Social Media resizer for ready-made platform sizes.
  • Wrong file type: use the Image Converter to switch between JPG, PNG and WebP.
  • Soft or slightly blurry photo: use the Photo Enhancer to sharpen edges, lift clarity and fix dull colour.

Frequently asked questions

Are the tools really free?

Yes. Every tool on this page is free to use as often as you like, with no account and no watermark. The site is supported by advertising, which keeps the tools free for everyone.

Do you store or see my images?

No. Your image is opened and processed inside your own browser and is never sent to us or stored anywhere. We could not look at your photos even if we wanted to — the technology simply never transmits them.

Why does a compressed photo sometimes look the same?

Most photos from modern phones contain far more detail than a screen can show. Removing some of that hidden detail shrinks the file a lot while the picture looks almost identical. That is the idea behind the guides on this site about compressing without visible quality loss.

Which format should I choose?

For photographs, JPG is the safe all-rounder and WebP is usually even smaller. Choose PNG when your image has transparency, sharp text or a logo, because PNG keeps edges perfectly crisp.
